Amy Kapp

Bio

Who am I? I grew up in Appalachian Pennsylvania in 24 acres of woods. Three older brothers, parents from The Silent Generation, grandmothers—a writer and environmentalist before it was cool—made me hyper sensitive, tough as nails. I can be a little scary. When I was young my parents wanted me to be an academic. I set my sights on the stage and became a passionate, but failed, actress. (My claim to fame: I kissed Zachary Quinto on stage once.) Still love cities–and deep talks. Had many life phases since.

I am not very cool.

Current Life Phase: I am a full-time fearless outdoor communicator and writer. Still working on my craft!
