Who am I: Born in Detroit, Raised in Cleveland, Educated in Philly… A grandmother that was a refugee several times over, a mother born in a country that no longer exists. Still trying to figure out my art and writing. All of it is driven by the absurd indifference of the Universe.

Food is one of the deepest expressions of love and art that I know. At its worst it expresses itself as the foodie culture (the theme of some of my work). At its best it is pulls together all the senses and triggers a Sehnsucht for a time when everything made sense and felt good.
